BLOG and Competition - Terms & Conditions

1. This promotion is open to consumers aged 18 (eighteen) years or over who are residents of Great Britain, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands only, excluding employees and their immediate families of Merlin Entertainments Group (the promoter), (including contracted suppliers) and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.
2. Prizes will be given for the best blogs as decided by the judges; judge’s decision is final.
3. The promoter reserves the right not to publish any articles.
4. The prize must be accepted as a whole and no alternative full-cash or other prize is available, in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar alternative of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the promoter, the prize will only be available to the winner in person and can not be sold.
5. The promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or withdraw the promotion as necessary due to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control.
6. Participants are required to supply complete and accurate details. In the case of incomplete or incorrect details being provided, or the Promoter being unable to contact the winner within 28 days, the promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original.
7. Conduct of participation. By entering this promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Merlin Entertainments Group and Promotion Terms and Conditions. The promoter may at its sole discretion disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or operation of the website or to be acting in any manner deemed to be disruptive to the promotion. This promotion is subject to the Merlin Entertainments Privacy policy.
8. 10 tickets to the Merlin UK attraction of the winner’s choice (excluding the Blackpool Tower Attractions, Madame Tussauds Blackpool & Weymouth Tower) subject to excluded dates and opening times.
9. The prize must be taken before December 2012 and is subject to availability.
10. The prize does not include transport or accommodation.

If you have indicated that you wish to receive direct marketing material or e-mail updates from one of our attractions and /or third parties but subsequently change your mind, you should notify the individual attraction you original signed up to. As soon after it is reasonably practicable, we will remove your name from the relevant database.
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is used by third parties in accordance with this policy.

What countries your data may pass through

We want our guests to benefit from our international connections. Accordingly as outlined in this privacy policy, we may send data about site visitors through or to other countries, both inside and outside.
