Full Competition - Terms & Conditions

• Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.
• Entry is open to residents of the UK except employees (and their families) of Merlin Entertainments Group and any other companies associated with the competition.
• All entrants and the winner must be 18 or older or have signed authorisation form from a parent or guardian who must be in attendance for the day. Proof of identity and age may be required.
• Merlin shall have the right to approve or disapprove any selected dates, if required, in its absolute discretion.
• If selected dates are required, some weekends and some peak periods may be unavailable.
• Entries that are incomplete, illegible, inaudible or indecipherable will not be valid and deemed void.
• All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition.
• No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in the post.
• The prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
• Unless otherwise stated, all winners, and their companions if applicable, are responsible for any expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prizes, including any necessary travel arrangements, costs, travel documentation or meals.
• Prizes are subject to availability and subject to the individual attraction’s terms and conditions.
• Merlin Groups reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions at any time and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.
• In the event of a prize being unavailable, Merlin Groups reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
• All winners, and their companions if applicable, agree to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by Merlin Entertainments Group relating to any post-winning publicity.
• Unless stated otherwise the winner[s] will be drawn at random from all correct entries received by the closing date.
• Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, then the prize will be offered to the next eligible entrant drawn at random.
• Confirmation of the prize will be made in writing to the winner.
• Failure to respond and/or provide an address, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.
• Merlin Entertainments Group’s decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into.
• Competitions may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
• In the event of a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material (or any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry), the details of the promotional material (and any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry) shall prevail.
• A list of the winner(s) may be requested in writing to Merlin Groups, Merlin Business Support, Silverglade, Surrey, KT9 2QL no earlier than one month, unless otherwise stated, after the close of the competition. Only the surname and county of the winners will be disclosed.

Merlin Entertainments Group assume no liability or responsibility for any errors or omissions in the contents of this Site. All prices and dates on this website are subject to change.

This will enable us to keep you informed about offers and events run by various attractions across the Merlin Entertainments Group, including Alton Towers Resort, THORPE PARK, LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort, SEA LIFE centres and sanctuarys, Madame Tussauds, The Dungeons, The EDF Energy London Eye, Chessington World of Adventures Resort and Warwick Castle.   

If you have indicated that you wish to receive direct marketing material or e-mail updates from one of our attractions and /or third parties but subsequently change your mind, you should notify the individual attraction you original signed up to. As soon after it is reasonably practicable, we will remove your name from the relevant database.
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is used by third parties in accordance with this policy.

What countries your data may pass through

We want our guests to benefit from our international connections. Accordingly as outlined in this privacy policy, we may send data about site visitors through or to other countries, both inside and outside. Owing to the global nature of the Internet infrastructure, the information that you provide may also be transferred in transit to other countries, both inside and outside.
